Pictures from the insanity

This will be framed.

The map from Concord to Tyngsboro, MA

My face the way I really felt at the end

Never underestimate my ability to fake a smile after 48 miles. This is a look of amazement.

Wow! You amaze me. I don't always understand you, but you do amaze me.

I doubt that I would ever want to run a marathon with you, though. I wouldn't see you until the end!

Amazing job, dude!

Now I need to go and pay up!

Okay, for some reason I can't post a comment on your other blog anymore. I get an "Error on Page"... :(

This is a comment on your 'weighting' post. Sorry I had to post it here.

GREAT post. I, too, have struggled with my weight. Just a couple years ago I was over 200 lbs... on a 24 year old female, that is not cool. I've had a lot of ups and downs, but I think I can finally call myself healthy. I have my indulgences, but I keep myself in check. That said, I packed up about 5 lbs during the last couple months of marathon training and taper. Still trying to kick those, but it's all good.

Congratulations on the new, healthier you and thanks for sharing your insight/experience.

Yes, that Garmin photo should be framed! And I too have been known to smile even while hurting greatly during and after an event. But somewhere deep down I think it's funny that I'm doing/did this to myself in order to have fun. Congrats on your amazing accomplishment!
